Do you think it ok to have a life outside of being a mother?
Of course. I am a mother, but that is not ONLY what I am. I am allowed to have friends and time away from my kids.
Yes I do. I'm not just a mommy, I am a wife and a woman too.
I think it's essential. Soon enough, the kids will be teenagers, and more concerned with their friends, school, and activities than they will be with you. Then they'll be adults, and for the most part NOT an everyday part of your lives anymore. What then?
ok?
What is to be ok about? I am a person, a whole identity other than a mom, wife homemaker. I am someone entirely of my own.
I was an individual before they came and i should still be one after kids
Same if i marry
I wont just become a thing for everyone, i will still be me
More to life than catering to one thing. Be it a spouse or a mom. Life goes on
I think it's imperative! I don't stop being myself just because I have kids.
I didn't stop being me when I had children.
I feel so sad for those who feel being a mother is their only job in life.
I am so much more than just a mom.
