DH just gave DD too much medicine!!

I'm not sure if a slight "overdose" here is okay or not, MIL says she's fine, but I want to make sure...Im seriously about to call her pediatrician.

DD will be 5yo a week from today, se's 46 lbs. She has a fever, and DH was giving her motrin. He thought her dosage was the same as our older DD's, but it's not. She gets 1 1/2 tsps of Motrin, he gave her two tsps. Do I need to take her to the ER?

IMO she will be fine. But, I'm not a doctor. Call your ped if it will make you feel better. It's only a phone call.

 So he gave her an extra 1/2 a tsp?  I would think it would be ok, but I'd call either her ped or poison control.

She will be fine. An extra 1/2 isn't going to hurt her at her age.

She'll be fine as long as it's not been happening over a long period of time. Once isn't going to hurt.
