My daughter is NOT for sale!

Posted by   + Show Post
So this old lady at the grocery store today asked my 3 month old daughter if she was for sale because she'd buy her in a heartbeat. I told my SO about it when I got home and he said, "Yeah she's for sale! A BILLION dollars!" I gave him "the look" and shook my head. He says, "What? You wouldn't trade her for a billion dollars? We can make more!"
I wouldn't do it. Would you?

ETA: LOL you guys! I realize that the woman didn't seriously want to buy my daughter. Also, my SO was being serious (although if the opportunity actually came for some crazy reason, I don't know if he would really do it). I'm just asking a simple question. Do ya want a billion dollars or do you want your baby?

I'm sure he was being literal about it.

You don't know what literal means do you?

Grandpa,
I love you.
You are not of this earth no more
But i know your spirit is.
You are with all of us forever more.
No more tears shall fall from your eyes
No more pain you will ever feel.
You are in my heart always and forever more.
I love you more than words can express

 Nobody wants mine either.

I keep trying to sell the seventeen year old. No one wants her :(

I'm not the cat lady type. I'm more like an actual cat. I want affection when I want it and on my own terms. The rest of the time I want to claw out your eyes and piss in your shoes.

Nope :) Wouldn't sell either one for anything. Not the way-too-serious 9 year old at home, and not the adorable 2 year old we're waiting to bring home either!
