Somebody please explain how starting another civil war is going to benefit me?

My state is one of the ones trying to pull away from the union!

Are there any pros to this?

What are the cons?

I live in Utah in case you were wondering!

I know you are tired of hearing about this, I am too, but I have to know!

I never said I buy into it, but I know my hubby is gonna want to discuss it and I'm not big on politics, so I want to get educated on it before he gets home

Your state isn't trying to pull out of the union. Idiot people signing petitions are. And no, it won't start another civil war.

But it is still possible because of the fact that there is a petition for it

It's a threat...

You know, like when a kid doesn't like what's for dinner and they threaten to run away...

They know they can't find their own food out there, they know they can't protect themselves, so they camp out on the driveway until they start getting hungry.

There isn't going to be a civil war.

The states aren't going anywhere.

Bunch of paranoid people. And idiots signing these petitions.

Yes. It's not the states that are pulling out, it's fanatics signing a petition that won't amount to a hill if beans. People are blowing it way out proportion and using scare tactics.
