We usually wait until after Thanksgiving. But the kids are so excited this year, we already have holiday music on when they get home from school.
I think we may do a little this weekend.

Our HOA won't allow our neighborhood to put up outdoor decorations until December 1 and they have to be down by the 31st. Our indoor decorations are up with the exception of the window lights until the 1st of December.

Lol, my mil and I discussed this just the other day. :) we are keeping each other from decorating until Thanksgiving afternoon. We are going to stop by on the way home thanksgiving day so we can help them get everything out so she can put it up. Then we are coming home and I am going to let the kiddos help me put ours up. They helped a bit last year.... I figure at 7 and 5 they can do a lot more:)

Yes yes yes!
One holiday at a time.
The weekend after thanksgiving we put up our tree otherwise it feels like skipping the thankful part to get straight to the gifts.
Freakin Christmas Nazis!
Bash away i don't give a shit.

 1 1/2 heavy cream

6cups milk

1 vanilla bean pod seeded with pod and beans in pot

1/2 tsp salt

1 bag Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips

1 can sweetened condensed milk

pour all ingredients in crock pot on high for 3 hours, remove vanilla pod, puree with immersion blender(or regular blender if you dont have immersion) and return to crock pot on low to keep warm

Quoting Ms.KitKat:

is this a secret recipe? or would you care to share??????

Quoting mommy_me:

I make it from scratch in the crock pot, huge batch for all the friends and family that come, it stays hot and yummy

We will most likely put our decorations up the day after/weekend after Thanksgiving.

Christmas decorations do not go up until the day after Thanksgiving or the weekend after Thanksgiving. It seems like some people seem to forget about Thanksgiving.
