I love that she tells me i'm being a bad parent for my child still nursing but her feeding her 10 month old funyuns and popsicles all day is good parenting? She also doesn't brush his teeth since they'll fall out eventually and she only brushes once a day and is fine. I get that we all have different parenting choices but damn feed your kid healthy food at least! My kid wont eat candy, she wants carrots, peas, bananas and oatmeal. Yes she gets a little bit of ice cream when we're having people over but I brush her teeth right after. I get that my nursing a toddler can be weird but it sure isnt rotting her teeth like giving juice in a bottle for bedtime. Yes my dd brushes her teeth then lays down for the night and if she wakes up she drinks some water and is right back down.

LOL.
Sounds like your friend needs to read a book or two. As for you, keep it up Momma!

I'm not bashing or anything but I find it hard to believe that no kid wants candy. Not even one little bitty piece? My dd isn't big on candy either but still, c'mon :)

I don't personally see a problem with nursing a toddler. I used to think it was strange but it's just up to the parents. I think everyone should keep their advice to themselves when dealing with friends unless someone asks. Everyone has their way that is right for them.
