Do you refer your parents as mom and dad or by their first names now that you are an adult?
I am asking because my boss (64 years old) refers to his late father by his name rather than referring him as "dad". I just find it odd because everyone knows who his dad is (his dad started the company, and the company is his dad's name).
I call my mom, mom. I call my dad, dad. How about you?
I call my mom "ma" when I'm irritated or impatient, and I call my dad "pops" when I'm feeling playful.
Mom's boyfriend is Steve. And I think he'll always be Steve. Not because I don't like him(he's a great guy), but my parents didn't divorce until I was 27.......so I def don't need another dad. Lol
