FS and EBT down nation wide?

My sister gets food stamps she also works for a convince store that accepts food stamps.

On here way into work this morning she stopped to buy something using her EBT card and it wouldn't go through. She should have gotten her benefits on the 13th. She thought it was odd but didn't take time to investigate it.

Then she got to work and several customers tried using EBT and it wouldn't work. She called the DFCS call center as a merchant and they told her their food stamps system was down nation wide and they had no clue when it would be back up.

My sister is worried because she really needs to go shopping and she doesn't get paid again until next week. She has enough to get by for a few days but not much longer...

I hope they get it fixed soon

I had trouble too...I figured it would be back up by now.  The stores CAN do a voucher while its down, they did it for me!
