Feeding your little one with the spoon and let them eat all by themselves

My advice is to keep spoon feeding him until he's ready to eat like a big boy without help. my kids wanted to eat without help around 8 months or so.

I stopped at about 1 year. The pediatrician told me to let her learn to use it. Now she's 16 months and I usually give her a spoon with every meal and just let her decide if she wants to use it or not.

I barely spoon fed my son. Instead I only put like three Cheerios on his tray so he doesn't make a huge mess. I usually give him food that isn't messy -like crackers and string cheese- and my favorite is those squeeze purée baby food. He can feed himself very easily and neatly with those. I love em!
