I just started nonpooing a couple weeks ago, but I forgot my baking soda at my aunts over an hour away! I don't have money right now to go buy more, so, is there anything I can use instead?

No clue. Can you borrow a couple tablespoons from your neighbor?

Baking soda is so bad for your hair. It strips it harshly and dries it out. Skipping shampoo for baking soda is nuts. Get a good natural sulfate free shampoo. Before you fry your hair.

Moms that don't poo? How do you go so long without pooping?

How long will it be before you can get some? When was the last time you used it?

Agree. These ladies don't realize that Baking Soda works by PH balance. Naturally hair should fall between a 4-6 PH. Baking soda has a PH of 8-10(don quote me on that but somewhere in that area) Apple Cidar Vinegar is less acidic with a PH closest to our Hair and isnt drying like Baking Soda.

Baking soda costs like 30 cents. Check your couch cushions for change.

We copoo. But I'm black so maybe its different for us. I've been natural for years and never even heard of using baking soda
