Dd brought this home from school and I cried

'Sometimes you get discouraged because I am so small and leave my fingerprints on furniture and the walls but,everyday im growing big and soon will be very tall. Then all my little handprints will be hard to recall so heres a special handprint just so you can say this is how my fingers looked when I placed them here today.'
It had her hand print under the poem

My mom had that very same poem & handprints of my brother, when he was in Kindergarten. Found them in some old stuff after he died. Cried our eyes out.

I have the same poem on 2 plaques with their handprints that my children brought home from school when they were little. They're 21 and 14 now :)
