Bio dad doesn't matter

**I am not talking about adopted children or children conceived with donor sperm or children where the bio dad passed away***
Does your child's bio father know about the child? Does the child know about the bio dad? Do they have a relationship? Do you think he is important in the child's life?

I was married to him for years. We have 3 children. He was in their lives until I divorced him. Apparently he was taught that divorce means we don't exist anymore. Haven't seen him since.

No, he doesn't know, I don't know yet what I'm going to tell the baby (I'm pregnant), they will never have a relationship. He isn't important at all.

Yes, he knows, yes she knows.
No, not really. They see each other every few days and live in the same house, but outside of passing each other at the breakfast table, no.
No, he needs to vanish.

My husband is the father of my kids. Yes, dads are just as important as moms in a child's life.

They know each other but bio dad hasn't been around for 5 years. So I could say at this point, bio dad doesn't matter.

Yes to all of them. The bio dad is just as important as the mom. Every child deserves a dad and every father deserves the chance to be a dad... Provided of course that he doesnt abuse, neglect or endanger the child. Same goes for the mom.
