I'm gonna get on my soapbox not that it matters, it's rude and it's wrong to do this...
Participating in transgendered hate. And YES that includes saying "Ohhh that person looks like a tranny" because first of the word "tranny" is offensive to most transgendred people. Not that most of you care, and secondly a lot of transgendred men and women look a hell of a lot better than the people actually OF that gender. I know for a fact plenty of transgendred women that are drop dead gorgeous. So when you use it as an insult, it's being hateful, it's being transphobic. There is your little public service announcement of the day.

BLURRY but me and transgendered performer Carmen Carrera. And yeah go ahead and bash my looks, I know she is prettier than me. Whatever.

Do these women look disgusting and "manly" as so many of you want to put that stereotype out there? Stop the phobia!
Js.
:D
I suppose you are right, but I usually do chalk it up to transphobia because so many people don't understand transgendered people, and therefore think it's "cool" to sling insults left and right
Quoting Anonymous:
No, no, no. They don't have a phobia. They're not scared of anything. They're just assholes.
I know right? I felt dumb taking a picture with Carmen Carrera because well she is prettier than me. LOL. But hey I own it. I realize a transgendered woman can be more beautiful than I am.
Quoting carter210:
Wait? Those are men?! No freaking way!!!!? They are gorgeous!!!

I don't pretend to know their struggles either, I cannot even imagine. I know transgendered people and honestly I hear their stories, and to me it seems like it would be the hardest struggle in life, more than being gay, or anything as far as things life could throw at you in that area. And a lot of people in the gay community don't even understand them, I talked with Carmen in person when she performed last time in my area about how the community stopped accepting her as much when she stopped being a Drag Queen and started to change her sex. It's a sad thing. That's why I just try to raise awareness for people not to be assholes. So good job in not being one of the assholes. There are way too many out there!

I don't understand them cuz I haven't walked a mile & I don't pretend to know. But, I don't sling insults cuz I'm not an asshole. ;)

If a woman looks busted just call her busted. Busted means they don't know how to put on the correct amount of makeup. Being transgendred has nothing to do with how much makeup someone wears.
Quoting Anonymous:
before this happens we need to have a replacement term for tranny to describe a woman with to much make up.
That's how often I hear it be used.
