It's not about skin color. It has to do with being raise at or around poverty level. Deperate people do desperate things. Did you ever watch that movie where they switched the theif and the wealthy man on a dollar bet? I'll have to google the name of the movie. It's a classic.

The statmeent made was 'it's not about race, it's about culture'.
I'd say it's not about culture, even. There's nothing wrong with the African American culture, so I do not believe that causes these problems.
But about poverty and some dysfunctional families.
