Are just like other men and the media just shows the bad apples to get ratings and feed the stereotypes?

I thought you were going to discus the OTHER stereotype about black men.

Skin color doesn't affect people's character but culture can. It's sad but true, in many places in America, the stereotype is true...but it's a culture thing, NOT a race thing.
The statmeent made was 'it's not about race, it's about culture'.
I'd say it's not about culture, even. There's nothing wrong with the African American culture, so I do not believe that causes these problems.
But about poverty and some dysfunctional families.
