All me and m so o is fight and argue about supid stuff. He went out this morning and came back for 10 minutes to change his socks the he had to go to his grandmas for beakfast then cut up a deer. Then go back out hunting then go to his grandmas for dinner. Does anyone else see something wrong with this?

I happen to enjoy hunting season.  It keeps my husband occupied on his days off, so that he isn't thinking up crazy household projects that he'll start and not finish LOL.  PLus if he gets a deer we have more meat then we can eat!

I see nothing wrong, tbh. It is what, one, maybe two weeks out of the year? And you will be sure to have meat this winter?

Why don't you go to grandma's for dinner?

It's only once a year for a few weeks...I enjoy the meat, so I have no problems with it

What's the problem?

That he's gone during the day?

You mean other than the senseless slaughter of innocent woodland critters?

No.

Ahhh a hunting widow....why don't you call his grandmother and find out if you and the kids are invited to dinner tonight?

Dh was gone all day yesterday and will be gone again today and mornings all this week hunting. I don't mind, I can't wait to cook up the first venison dinner!

Sounds about right to me....

My husband doesn't hunt, but my dad and all 3 of my brothers do, so I grew up with it. That's just how it is during hunting season. It doesn't last long.
