My boyfriend wakes me up this morning after taking out our dogs and goes "our welcome mat" is gone" and I get out of bed and go and look and sure enough it's gone...I walk around the corner and our welcome mat is infront of our neighbors door!!
Are you kidding me? A welcome mat...really?
Edit: Of course I took it back, it's not a cheap mat for one and two it's completely rude.

Most people have cans outside for the inside garage. I assume that's what it was.

....from inside of your house?

So e people steal some crazy things! I had a "friend" who was being paid to help me with housework because I am disabled and I ended up having to fire her because I started missing things like flour, oil, cleaning supplies, shampoo, dish soap, body wash and 2 ornaments and stands, that I had made for my 2 kids that passed away (I made a post about it last week). She even stole some shower puffs (new) that I bought. It was crazy and obvious who stole them because she was the only one besides me that had a key to the house.

Our neighbors stole our garbage can that blew in the wind. I guess they just decided it was theirs while we weren't home.. It has no lid and is cracked, it really was a crappy can anyway it was our extra can. It was 3 weeks after we had just moved in and I didn't wanna start a fight over a stupid ghetto trash can so I just laughed and let them keep the damn thing lol.
