TERRIBLE heartburn! Please help!

I am 34 weeks pregnant. I've had heartburn the whole pregnancy, but now it is UNBEARABLE. My doctor had me on prilosec otc, but you're only supposed to take that for 14 days straight and then stop. As soon as I stopped, I've gotten the heartburn back full force, all day, everyday. It makes me throw up if I try to move, eat, anything. And it hurts sooo bad. I'm at my wits end! Please help me!!!!  :-(

ETA- Tums/Rolaids etc. don't seem to touch it at all. I do take them, hoping they will, but it doesn't even seem to take the edge off.

Take a few sips of dill pickle juice.

My grandma told me to do that when I had horrible heartburn while pregnant. I thought she was crazy, but it actually worked.

 Try rice vinegar, its an old remedy that my mil told me about. Due to tummy issues I cannot take heartburn meds so I tried 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar and it neutralized the acid . Yes it is hard to get used to, but its either vinegar or heartburn .

I'm 37 weeks and totally feeling your pain. I have bottles of tums in every room in the house now so I can grab them fast when I need them.

How do I take it, just mix it into water? And how much? I'm willing to try anything! That won't hurt the baby of course.

baking soda! grab two fingers and dip them in baking soda, lick your fingers and that.should help im sorry momma hope you feel better
