I was watching a show and blurted out a "bad word" my kid comes up to me and says
"DONT SAY THAT WORD! Its a bad word! >=|
Me- No baby its not a bad wor-
And she turns me around and smakes my butt. " No mommy, no more bad words." And walks away...... she's three -__- but at least she hates nasty words :)
I will never say the word 'Dang' eveeerrr again in my life.
Lol XP

So you taught your DD that it is okay to physically harm people when they do something she does not like, great parenting *sarcasm*

Lol. That is cute!
If I whisper a bad word my 4 year old can hear it when he is in a different room with the tv on. He is sure to let me know.

Hey OP said she would not say that bad word again, she learned her lesson.  Proof that spanking works right?

If you saw a post about how cute it was that a persons kid could push the shopping cart with their baby sisters carrier perched on the handles, would you say that is awesome, keep on doing it and encourage them?  Spanking is the same, physically hurting someone and teaching that to the next generation does not good and only harms people, so no, it is not cute, and anyone playing it off that it is should be told otherwise.  There is marked harm done by it.

If spanking works, why do you have to keep doing it?
