Christmas shopping at Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us. Now I'm done!

How much have you spent on Christmas shopping so far?

 What have you bought?

I have 4 kids (plus two angel tree kids) and bought my dd Disney Princess Little People castle, a Disney Princess wagon, a ball, dream light, a pillow pet, a special mommy/daughter necklace (this was just bought recently)and a doll with little accessories, plus some stocking stuffers.. Bought my boys the laser pegs from Target, Monster Fighter Legos, Halo toys, a bike helmet for my oldest, a tablet for my 7 year old and a tablet for my 4 year old. Oh, also got the Skylanders Giants (all of them) and all the new Skylanders figures. Skylanders pillows and sheet sets. Soccer gear for my oldest, Avengers toys, and a giant Iron Man doll (stuffed). Books, puzzles, winter boots, winter pants, winter coats and gloves, and pajamas for my two youngest kids.

*edited*

Just spent another $500 on a Dyson vacuum cleaner, a new TV, and Nintendo 3DS game

I'm all about spoiling my kids on Christmas. But once you went into that RUN ON sentence . I couldn't read anymore.

Do what you want as long as you can afford it.

Oh, should I use bullets and make it nice and neat for you to be able to read it? I apologize, I was just excited and listed things as I remembered. Didn't think it was really a big deal.

Do you know who I am? Nope. So, not like it matters, does it?

If you don't want to read about it, don't open the post. Really. You have that option, you know. May as well use it, rather than telling others what they should or shouldn't do on a public forum.

No one needs to know you spent 2 grand on Christmas, really.

Why do you feel the need to gloat about every penny you spend?

Why not? Plus, I'm pretty damn proud of the awesome deals I got! $249 on a Dyson! Woot! I'm one happy lady!

Love the story book letters! I also live in AZ! Are you set up on Facebook?

Quoting eykelley:

Sure! :D

I am setting up my etsy right now, but visit www.ccbyliz.blogspot.com

I'm adding new stuff tomorrow. ;D

Would you share your website? I would live to see it!

Quoting eykelley:

I run my own boutique/website and I get how hard times are on families. I have 3 friends who also have small businesses they run and I know when I buy from them that I'm helping make their Xmas' and lives better.

Times are tough, this is my way of helping out. :D

I'm putting. $100 toy limit & $100 clothes limit for each kid. My limit for dh is $200, and $20 for each family member there after. So, about $1000 for everyone. My kids don't really get much outside of te holidays so, it works out.

I haven't spent much. I am buying mostly small business, homemade (etsy, boutiques) stuff this year. Give my money to a family who needs it, not a CEO's 3rd vacation home. Lol.

Good ideas! Spend on the local businesses to support small business. I like that idea.

If your going to gloat about money atleast make it a large amount. And I did ignore your post up until the update. Gloating about 2 grand is just silly.

If you're going to whine about what people post, at least get the correct "you're".

Meh, so says you. I should care what you think because why, exactly?

I've bought little things here and there all year for stocking stuffers, but no official Christmas shopping has been done. We have a budget of $200 per child (for 5 kids).

I stuck to my budget of 300-400 for each child, however, I have two angel tree girls that I ended up shopping for, so really it came out to be around 250 per child. My 4 kids and the two angel tree kiddos.

I've spent about the same amount as you, OP, and I'm still not finished :( Most of the stuff I've already gotten are for my parents and younger sister since we live on opposite sides of the world and I don't see them so I spoil them during Christmas. I bought ds a train set but the little kid in me wants to set it up already LOL! And I bought some new clothes and some other toys for him I bought dd some new clothes and playmat. Not sure what else to get her since she's only 7 months. And I haven't even started thinking about what to get dh. Ugh lol.
