Sex after miscarriage?

I recently had a miscarriage and i was wondering how long i should wait before commencing relations with the hubs. I bled for about a week and am now only wearing a liner and that is just there for the occasional spot of blood. I have heard that it can be harmful to start having sex too soon but i dont really know. Just looking for some insight. TIA.

I had sex the day the bleeding stopped. I was 7 weeks 4 days along when I miscarried. I ended up pregnant fast. According to my early ultrasound I was pregnant just 9 days after I miscarried.

The doctor should have told you that info. But I personally started having sex asap. But I was desperate to get preggers before he left on deployment. It didn't happen of course. I am kinda glad it didn't since I don't think I was in the right state of mind at that time.

Thank you! My daughter is now 6 so this was years ago. I went on to have an uneventful healthy pregnancy. I am so sorry for your loss!

When i miscarried she was on call so she wasn't there to give me that info. I have an appointment next Monday but dh and i don't want to wait that long. And it isn't because we want to try soon, we just need the adult time. Lol
