Why does he think he can just pop in and out whenever he wants??!

grrr....dd's bio dad. Our divorce was finalized in May. The divorce papers say he has to pay child support and gets her every other weekend and certain holidays. He hasn't paid a dime. And hasn't seen her in two months. He calls occassionally and says he doesn't have the gas money or a car or some health problem, excuses as to why he can't see her. He called today and asked what 'we were gonna do about Christmas'.
To take him back to court I'd have to re apply for legal aid and go through all of that again. Will they modify the visistation, give him less visitation time for not seeing her at all and not paying any child support?

Same reason why my dd's sperm donor does. he lost his parental rights two months ago. Piece of crap.

In GA if the parent is absent for 12 months and has failed to.provide financial support for 12 months you can file. If the parent has not made a reasonable attempt to be in the Childs life and be a parent you can file on those terms. If he has commuted one of the seven crimes like murder rape etc...
