Never! Lol I think it depends on the child. DS is only 4 so I have no clue when I will feel comfortable leaving him home alone

Birth. Eff them babies. They're self sufficient. Don't give me this "they can't feed or change themselves" crap. That's just laziness. ;)








Seriously, though, IDK. Depends on the maturity of the kid. 12? 13? *shrugs*

Somebody thinks a kid needs to be 16 before he can be left home alone for ONE hour?

I was left at 8 and knew everything,how to cook,clean etc and care for my 3yr old sister and 13yr old brother

 I'd say 12... possibly a year or so older, but I began staying home alone at 12 and was responsible enough to stay out of trouble and not burn the house down.

I was left home alone at 7, but I have 6 year old now and she is nowhere ready for that, so I would say at least 10
