at what age is it ok (a IN GENERAL your AVERAGE intelligence, Normal emotional age) to leave a child home alone?

Never! Lol I think it depends on the child. DS is only 4 so I have no clue when I will feel comfortable leaving him home alone

Birth. Eff them babies. They're self sufficient. Don't give me this "they can't feed or change themselves" crap. That's just laziness. ;)

I was left at 8 and knew everything,how to cook,clean etc and care for my 3yr old sister and 13yr old brother

I was left home alone at 7, but I have 6 year old now and she is nowhere ready for that, so I would say at least 10
