Congrats...want to share? We don't get foodstamps so I will be taking my kids to a church for a free thanksgiving dinner.

As long as the only people eating it are those who live in your house go for it.  If you can't afford to feed your family you can't afford to feed extras, Thanksgiving or not.

Kind of worried tonight. Our diabetic dog has decided to refuse her insulin shots. Not sure where the situation will go from here.... :-(

Works for me.  I'm not on them but if another family needs them, I don't begrudge them the help.

Do you think people on FS will suddenly have the money for Thanksgiving dinner?

No you can't do that.  Its okay to brag about being on FS and using others to feed your family but never ever admit that you buy your food with cash.  That's bragging and just asking for someone to tell you they can't wait for the day you're poor and fall of your high horse.

So? I bought a $20 spiral sliced ham, a turkey (which was free), and all the stuff for sides and pies, ALL with food stamps.

Who cares?
