Oh I get the point of this post now...
GET OVER IT... boo hoo he has to work... So do millions of other people. The world doesnt stop turning because of an arbitrary holiday...
Yup...
That is the life of a route saleman... I know, my father worked for Wonder for many many many years and was gone most of my life. His 1 day off he STILL tended to a few stores on his route 365 days a year... It's the nature of the job.
The only chips we eat are tortilla chips for the guacamole that I make as an hors d'oeuvre before the main meal.
No, I won't be.
I don't understand how working for Frito Lay has anything to do with eating them on Thanksgiving or not though.
People won't be running to the Frito Lay factory on Thanksgiving to buy them.
I'm sorry that he is being made to work. It seems like that company could take a break for a day and be just fine monetarily. But big corporations don't care about people, just profit. :(
Quoting jas_momof2:Yup...

lol - the handbook is nothing more than "guidelines"... Not every route is going to conform...
Quoting kyuteangl88:
It's actually in the handbook that they get Thanksgiving off and he is one of the only ones working Thanksgiving :( So over the route sales!

Rarely buy them but will have them (along with dip) for when we have turkey sandwiches and other goodies later that night and as we play games.
Ruffles only.
