On Dr.Phil today a lady over 500lbs claimed she was "healthy" Is there really any way to be THAT big and healthy at the same time?

500lbs... that's probably stretching the healthy part.

No, I do think you can be 20-30 lbs overweight and still be healthy but not 500lbs

Pssssshhh, NO!

OBESE and healthy?  Absolutely NOT!

High blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, diabetes II, reduced blood circulation, poor sanitation, poor dietary habits...

No. Even if she isn't showing symptoms there is something on the horizon. It will catch up to her sooner or later.

No, but by all means ladies of CM, knock yourselves out screaming about how you all are indeed morbidly obese and healthy.

That's not aimed at you OP but they will show up soon enough. It's just a matter of time. LOL

Eh, I don't know. I mean, if you have a messed up thyroid, but eat healthy, I think you can be overweight and healthy. I don't know about weighing 500lbs though. My mom's body is seriously messed up from chemo. She eats strictly raw fruits and veggies, and is overweight. She's otherwise healthy though (perfect blood pressure, no diabetes, perfect cholesterol). But she's not even close to what that woman weighs.
