Nah, I get emotional when weddings, birth, stuff like that. Birthdays I'm just so busy trying to outdo everything and make it fun for the kids that I'm too exhausted to get emotional.

I do not cry on birthdays but I got all teary eyed when we got rid of the crib and strollers etc...

I am not having any more kids so it breaks my heart a little to shut the door on child bearing.

I get misty on every birthday, wondering how she grew up so fast.

You are not the only one. I was a wreck when my son turned 13, he's my first born so it was difficult. But shoot when i hit 30 i was worse. I had to mentally prepare myself :( crazy!

Thanks. We has his party Saturday and thats when I was running around like a chicken with its head cutoff. Today both the kids were at school and it was just me and I had time to really think about how fast its all gone. He had a GREAT day. He says being five is super cool lol

My oldest is 14. UGH. Teenagers SUCK. He lives with his dad though so I don't have the day to day with it but the weekends and vacations are enough.
