Should you go to someones home for Thanksgiving dinner knowing the whole meal was bought with foodstamps?
Should anyone on foodstamps invite people over to eat their foodstamp meal?

I'm getting free food either way, so it wouldn't matter as to how the meal was bought.

Not my business. If they want to invite someone over that is up to them.

Why not? SOOO because they buy dinner with FS, they don't deserve family and friends on a wonderful holiday that is meant to be thankful for family and friends?? Sad that some would think otherwise! All people deserve a happy and loving holiday, FS or not!

We don't know anyone on foodstamps so it's not an issue here.

I would, didn't I already pay for it? Just kidding, but I see no problem with it.

I don't care how my Thanksgiving dinner was paid for, as long as I'm not the one paying for it. Hell, if  I were hosting Thanksgiving at my house I'd have to use my FS for it, because I don't have the money out of pocket for a full Thanksgiving meal for everyone in my family that would come (at least 50 people this year at my grandmother's, maybe more).

I say that people on foodstamps having people over to eat like that is proof that they get to much. It is to feed their family only.

Would It be a wise thing for someone on food stamps to actually host a dinner? Um no. But that's their business not mine!

I'll still eat AND bring a dish!
