My family only eats once a day

Yep. We (Me, DH, and 4 year old DD) only eat one meal a day. She might have a couple bites of some "grab and go" item like grapes, chips, or almonds. But she gets it herself, I don't make her sandwiches or Mac n cheese or anything like that. We have dinner once a day and that's it.
EDIT: It's not like if she came to me and asked me to make her something in the mornings or afternoon that I'd say no. But she doesn't. She's not hungry. I've never not allowed her to have food. Like I said, its not a rule, it just plays out way. My husband and I BOTH only had one meal a day growing up. We are fine. It's just a normal thing for us. She's not starving. She's a happy active little girl.
EDIT NUMBER 2: If she is hungry, she will eat. She knows how to grab it, and she knows how to say "Mommy I'm hungry" when I ask if she is hungry she knows to say yes or no. I'm sure as she gets older she will eat more, but for now she doesn't. She eats a healthy variety, with have lovely dinners, she takes her vitamins, etc. People, of all ages, should eat when they are hungry not because it is "time". Eat until your full not until your plate is clean. Your body knows when it needs something. And yes she knows how to tell when she is hungry. If she didn't know how to tell, I wouldn't see her getting herself a "snack". (grapes, yogurt, precut fruits, wheat thins,etc.). It also makes her feel good to get it herself. I'm sure as she gets older she will eat more, but for now, I'm not forcing her to eat. We used to do the three set meals a day thing and it was a huge battle every time and we wasted a lot of food.
why?? a 4yo cannot possibly live on grapes and one meal/day.
