Dd had bronchitis last week. Last night she was up all freaking night coughing. I called to get her a referral to the urgent care two minutes from the house. Instead the nurse tells me to take her to the emergency room. The ER is thirty minutes away. We aren't an emergency so we are just sitting here waiting. Could have been home already with urgent care. But nope. Gotta love TriCare

You could of taken her to urgent care and called your doctors office and gotten them to send in a referral when they're open. So I was told. Usually it's only 40-80$ when I go and we have tricare. If I go to urgent care without a referral.
TriCare prime? I was told I'd have to pay the entire fee which was over $100.
But i had it where it was just prime and it was the same thing.
Things could have changed.
I never have had to pay up front either. They've billed me later.

Apparently things have changed. I never had trouble getting urgent care before. Now it is a pain. Last week with the same symptoms it was wait until an appoint with her PCM.

Well I have remote prime now.
