Saw this in another group and wanted to see what the cafemom confessions group had to say.

So 3 months into the relationship? 6? A year? When do you feel it's ok?

I'm with my child's father, but I couldn't imagine ever letting her call someone eles dad if we weren't together. He's been a great dad. Unless he wasn't apart of her life, that's the only time I could see it for us.

I don't unless the childs father has NO involvement. And then only that's it clearly going to be a longterm thing. At the six month mark he wouldn't have even MET my children yet.

Never as a boyfriend. If I get married, my son may call him daddy only of he chooses to

Make sure to line up a good psychologist for your child as well while you're at it.

I guess it all depends.. is their dad figure in the life? Are you LIVING with this man?

Usually a CHILD knows when to call a man daddy. They reaalize when they become comfortable and the man shows and acts like a father.

This. And it should be solely up to the child. Nothing pressured. I see children being pressured all the time
