I had surgery Wednesday. Omg it hurts! Stitches come out in 10 days!

I've had foot surgery three times... I shattered my foot with a fall and they kept breaking it and pinning it back together. The last one I literally had pins sticking out the end of my toes for months...

Anyways. Elevate it constantly and no matter how good you think you feel don't even attempt to walk.
And take your meds on the schedule. I don't care if you feel okay. Just take them every 4 - 6 hours like they say. Or you'll get hit with crazy pain unexpectedly.

The process is simple. Recovery.....about 2 - 3 months

When I had mine done 9 months ago, exact same scar. I was on crutches and absolutely no weight or pressure on the foot for 2.5 weeks. Then got a walking cast still limited at 3 months they removed the pin and been gravy ever since :)
