I know, I have the same opinion on what I think Irish Twins are but there are a few out there that consider a time frame of 11-13 months. Not sure why but I've heard it.

Quoting TattooedMomto4:

Irish Twins are siblings who are either A) born in the same calendar year or B) are 12 mos. or less apart in age. My sister and I miss being official Irish Twins by 9 days. I was born 3/17/67 and she was born 3/26/68.

What is your definition of Irish Twins? What is the time frame considered? Curious.

My sister and I count ourselves as Irish Twins (even though technically we are not) because really the 9 days don't make a HUGE difference. I was actually a preemie due in May  20, 1967 (born 2 mos. and 3 days early) so when my sister was born (10 days late...she was due 3/16/68) I was as small as most 10 mos. old, was developmentally at the level of most 10 mos. old babies and for my mom it was very much like having a 10 month old (I wasn't even walking by the time my sister was born) and a newborn though on the calendar I was 12 mos. and 9 days old.
