Moms of toddlers and young kids, I'm desperate for suggestions.

I have. Five month old and a three year old. I am EXHAUSTED today, but as usual, my three year old is BURSTING with energy, lol. Any suggestions on ways for him to burn energy inside? It's too cold to play outside, Unfortunately. :(

Just make him lay on the couch and watch tv with you maybe he will fall asleep.

Throw on some warm cloths and let him run around.... It won't hurt him to play in the cold, just make sure he is bundled up :)

Do you have stairs? I used to have my daughter run up and down the stairs while I timed her, over and over. Or I'd put on some music and her dance til she dropped!

We use the kinect or let him play with the dog. We have giant pillows on our couch that he can build tunnels and forts with. They are heavy so it wears him out. Try playing a really active game of simon says or put on some music and just let him dance.

I make my kids do workout videos.  I do some with them, but it is something we do everyday even in the summer.  I also have chores they do.  Wash the cabinet fronts, sort silverwear and other such tasks.

I have a 7, 4 and 2 yo and am preg.  Due in February.  So I know how crazy it is.

I considered that, but I've been sick and being out in the cold makes me feel awful. :(

Forts are good. Earlier, I put dd (3)in the bath for the same reason, too cold and too much energy, I put blue food coloring, bubbles and toys. She played for about 45 min and I read.
