would you take baby in? *edit* for those interested.
My dd is almost 2. Right now she has a temp of 104.3. I have swtiched on and off with tylonal and ibuprofin childrens for a few hours and only gone up. I looked up symtoms of whooping cough and she is coughing, sneezing, runny nose and fever....
I just gave her a dose of ibuprofin, and goong to check her again in a half hour.
Should i wait or go?
Took her temp again right before walking out the door, and its down to 102. So im going to watch her for the night and see.

I take dd in if her fever will not come below 102 with meds. At 104 we'd already be waiting.

With a fever that high, she needs to be seen. Take her to the ER. A fever of over 104 qualifies as an emergency as it can cause seizures.
