Happy Birthday Baby Jesus! (Keeping CHRIST in CHRISTmas)
The post about taking the Christ out of Christmas made me think. In our house, it's a tradition to make baby Jesus a birthday cake to celebrate with. Yes, I know historically HIS birth is closer to Easter and all. It's just out way of helping HIM celebrate.
Do you know anyone else who does birthday cakes for Jesus?

I tell my children about Christ and they know that Christmas is his birthday, we even attend church, but we dont bake a cake. We do however put out cookies and milk for Santa Claus.
Mmmmm .... caaaaake.
What kind of cake would Buddha like? I'm thinking something with fruit.
Quoting JadsW:
No. I don't make a cake for the Buddha on Wesak day, either. I guess I could start ... :D Any excuse for cake is a good one. ;)

ETA: Lemon cake! Tart with sweet. Ying with yang!

Easter isn't when HIS birth is celebrated. That's about resurrection. And I make bunny cake for that. And hot cross buns.

I would be annoyed if someone made me a birthday cake, on a day that wasn't close to my birthday then tried to be smug about it (not op, just in general).
