Military.com is reporting that Congress will vote this week on new prescription costs.

26 for copays on name brand
44 for non formularly
And I can't remember what the new one would be for generic.

If passed it would be effective Jan 1.

Generic would stay the same at 5.

However if you use the mail order pharmacy tricare provides name brand would jump from 9 to 26.

These changes look likely..with yearly hikes until 2016.

This is why I only use the hospital pharmacy, it may be a pain the ass to wait so long but it saves me money in the long run. The price hikes would suck for others though, and I may not always make it to the hospital pharmacy

Our base has a small pharmacy and many of the meds my child is on cannot be filled there.
