Yet so many moms tell my child that he is! I, personally, don't want my children to believe in Santa and I've expressed this. Yet, people who know always ask my children What do you think Santa is bringing you? STOP fucking confusing my children! They are MINE! I don't tell other people's kids that Santa isn't real. Fuck off.
Okay, had my fun. You ladies made me laugh. thanks for that. My kids are with dh and I'm alone. Needed to have some fun.

I get the same issue with Jesus. You'll just have to teach your children that different people believe differently

I don't ask other kids what they want from Santa just for this reason. We have family that don't do Santa and I respect that.

So why not explain to your kid that some people tell their kids Santa is real, and that's what they believe, and think all kids think this way. Instead of blaming other people for your kids' confusion, why not explain fully to your kid, why other people ask them this.
