It's not great I would try calling the nurse line for your insurance or if your docs office has an answering service call them

Here is a bump.

DS was never sick when he was that little. It sounds a wee high for a two month old. Call a nurse hotline and ask if you should take him in.

1 800 700 6296

Or 800-675-6368

Those should be toll free and 24 hour.

I never give meds for a fever unless it gets starts getting high (over 102 ish) and my child is uncomfortable. Don't be afraid of fevers. Remember that fevers are the bodies natural way of fighting infection. It is perfectly safe and actually encouraged by most pediatricians to let the body do its job.

Keep an eye on him throughout the night and call your ped in the morning as soon as the office opens. It high but not to the point of needing time go to the er for anything

Yes that is high for a 2 month old! I would take him in as soon as you could, just to make sure its nothing serious.

Did he just get shots?
Is he eating, pooping and peeing?

100.1 really is not bad. I don't even give ibuprofen until the fever is 101. I would just keep an eye on him for now.
