Why am I not allowed to think spanking is abuse?

People tend to get defensive when they know they're wrong.
Of course it's wrong to physically hurt a child. Anyone who disagrees is an uneducated moron.
I only spank if my child is doing somthing that can put her in danger, it is to get her attention, not hurt her or humiliate her. I feel you should only ever use an open hand on the bottom and it should never be done out of anger. Yet there are some parents that spank that don't agree with me. Everyone raises their children differently.
Quoting Anonymous:
"Countries where spanking is legal though (such as Finland and Denmark) have very low crime rates compared to the US"
And it's funny how every person attributes that to what they want. Atheists say it's because they're highly secular countries. Anti-spanker a say it's because spanking is illegal, socialists say it's because of socialism.
Bottom line is that unless you can prove a direct link between spanking and a tendency to violence you have nothing by this association.
Those countries also have very high suicide rates, so should I start blaming Atheism or lack of corporal punishments for that? It's ridiculous to make associations that may not even exist.
Well When My Two Year Old Do Something That He Knows He Dont Suppose To Do He Will Get Spanked Point Blank Period You Have To Discipline Them Or They Will Run Over Top Of You.....................But If You Know That You Handle Spanking Your Kids Properly Then You Dont Need To Do IT
All kids that I know who do not get spanking is stinking rude! You see moms out in public being embarrased by their kids, back talking and not acting right. I spank my kids, and they are well mannered. I bet your kid is rude, and your a mom that has to be running around in public trying to control your kid/s.
