The baby is NOT bonding with you because you breastfeed. All it knows is that it is hungry and that is where the food comes from. Same with bottle feeding. The "bonding" is what YOU feel.

But feeding is a way of bonding....you are taking care of their needs and they are learning to trust you to take care of them.

Thank you for telling me about myself and what my child and I feel. Tellme oh wise one, what else do you know? You seem to think you know everything.

A bottle fed baby will also bond. And yes, when you breast feed your child it is a wonderful  feeling  unlike anything else. By the way I bottlefed one and breastfeed one so I know.

Sounds like a formula feeder who is upset with breastfeeders over a stupid reason

I am so glad I was able to breastfeed my 3 for 2 plus years each. Our bond is very strong! I'm sure that isn't the only reason (the family bed helped too! Lol) but it is a main one.

Feeding babies regardless of how you do it is a way that all mammals bond with their young.  If a baby is dependent on you for something and you provide it, they will bond with you. Not sure where you got your child development and psychology degree but I would return it for a refund.
