lets just say I'mseeing red right now.

he opened ALL of the Christmas presents. Ones for EVERYONE! not just his. He then tried to hide them all.

Lied about doing it..

he will NOT be getting anything for Christmas or his birthday which is 17 days after Christmas.

ALL of his toys are know locked away. He will not be playing with anything. The only thing he got to keep is his books, bed, chair, and cloths.

He will have to earn all of his toys back with good behavior.

I'm taking back all of the gifts that were for him. (that is 400 dollars worth of gifts) I'm keeping the ones for the others. On Christmas day he will be sitting in a corner watching everyone else open their gifts and he will get nothing...

Santa will bring him nothing in his stocking, nothing for gifts because he only stops at the good little boys and girls houses.

* I didn't spank him, I didn't threaten him. I bagged up all of his toys every single one of them and locked them away. He will have to find his own way to amuse himself with his mind. He has a chance to earn back toys though.

edit: since moring he has been trying to earn back his toys. I sat him down and talked to him. He knows what he did is wrong. He even said he hid them because he couldn't figure out how to rewrap them.

He has offered to help wrap the other gifts.

I told him I'd reconsider taking his christmas and birthday away if he is on his best behavour for here on out.

He helped me make breakfeast. Told his cousin he was sorry for taking her presents. He is now in his room reading one of his books.

After lunch is his cousins nap time so we will wrap the gifts up then.

How old?
No toys at all for bday or Christmas? Your call but that's a little harsh imo

How old is he and why was he unsupervised long enough to open every single gift?

How old is he? I think losing some, or even all, of the Christmas presents is fair, but taking away everything else, taking away his birthday presents, and making him sit in the corner on Christmas, thats too much.

Okay saw he is almost five. Honestly he is old enough to know better, but not getting anything seems kinda harsh. Maybe he could still get some f his presents, but Santa could put a note about not being naughty in his stocking and not leave a gift.

Idk I love Christmas too much to use it as a punishment.
