I just read the other post about it, and honestly - I have no clue what I would do! :\

I would be mad as hell, but Idk if I could go as far as that OP went..

All our gifts get locked up so this doesn't happen. The kids ages 4 & 2 never see any gifts till Christmas morning.

re-wrap them! lol i would be mad, they would be grounded, but they would still be opening them xmas day! i love xmas, and theres no way i could hurt or disappoint my kids that way! besides i would have to take partial blame for not hiding them better or locking them up!

If my kid was 6 and under I'd probably re wrap the presents and depending on how close Christmas was I'd have Santa write a note and explain how naughty they were.

Older kid? They would have a heck of a lot of chores and would be grounded.

I didn't see the other post. If it happened here I'd probably cry first. Lol Then try to return/exchange anything I could. I'd have a talk with my kid, and go buy a few things to put under the tree anyway. My sons are almost 10 so they might get in trouble too depending on the circumstances. Luckily our gifts are all at ILs house in another state so no peeking possible.

3, I would fuss a little and rewarp them
4, there would be some pretty good punishment.
5-6, I would most likely tell them that I am taking them all back and that they don't get Christmas presents. On Christmas Eve I would put everything back out
10, return everything, ground the child, and give them extra chores. They def know better!
