S/O Have you ever mowed the lawn?

  s/o off the moms of boys posts. Most of you are saying that you feel it's important for men to know how to do housework, but what about girls doing "mans work"?

Have you ever mowed the lawn? I have. I have an acre of property and a push mower. It's great exercise.

My father taught me once when I was growing up, and once when I bought this house last year, but I find it much easier to pay someone else to do it.

There is nothing in our home or around our yard that I have not taken care of.

My parents divorced when I was 10. I did all the yard work from 10 to when I moved out.

I am the one that mows. We did have my 12 yr old do it this past summer though.

I mow the lawn, I fix cars, I do all the man work. Dh wont.

I've mowed a lawn once. The grass was up to my chest, I thought a lawnmower could take care of it. LOL

I finished about two 2' X 8' patches and gave up.

My dad is giving me his lawnmower. I cancelled my service yesterday. Sink or swim.
