My fiancé said his office Christmas party isn't allowing spouses or guests...how do I find out if he is lying or not?

Does he lie to you a lot?  If not I would not check up on it.

When and where is the party?  If it's at the office-chances are he's right.  If you're so worried about it, drive to the venue the time of and see if he was honest.  But, I think the bigger question is why marry someone you don't trust?

Serious question if you don't trust him enough to take his work for it and believe him when he says they won't allow so's,  wives, etc at the party then why are you marrying him?

If I was you df and found out you called the office asking this question, I'd dump your ass in a hot second.  I would be furious and I would think you were too insecure and immature to marry.

Erm wouldn't you want to trust your fiance prior to marriage? :)

I would call without giving your real name and ask. That is just strange.

I have never heard of that, but they need to stop being so cheap! lol If the workers are good they should treat them with at least letting them share a good dinner and party with their significant other.

Many places are doing it to save money.

My SO wouldn't go if that was the case. Maybe the people throwing it have serious sexual tension going on! Lol That is really odd though.

My DH's office did that last year.  Their budget was bad so all they did was order pizza & play games on the Wii.  They also had some raffles & give aways. My DH works in a warehouse which is full of men, so that was fun for them I guess.
