My fiancé said his office Christmas party isn't allowing spouses or guests...how do I find out if he is lying or not?

My husband's company used to allow spouses/SO's, but since the company went from only 10 employees to over 75, they've cut out the +1's from coming.

What is she??? his mom???

Is he saying its only for workers?? I would call and ask just to make sure he isn't lying. If he is lying, I would tell him he can either invite me also or he isn't participating!

Odd, my husbands says I'm invited. Sounds fishy to me.

They may be doing cut back so maybe its a smaller party
But call a spouse of his coworker or someone he knows
Bring up the convo to someone who works there you may know

How rude! Just because they don't share DNA doesn't mean that she shouldn't be included.

My boyfriend's is having a kids party and said my daughter couldn't participate because she's not his so nobody is going.

So I agree with this.

Quoting Bertha21:

My SO wouldn't go if that was the case. Maybe the people throwing it have serious sexual tension going on! Lol That is really odd though.

He shouldn't go then. You can always call and ask or find a way to get the answer out of him. Maybe if he ends up going find out where and stalk him if you're suspecting cheating. If you see him there with co-workers both male and female, and the party looks innocent. Let it go. That's what I would do. I am good at fishing for information.

Thats going a bit far
He cant go if she cant go?
Really?
Thats immature

Spouses dont have to do everything together. Its his office party, not hers.

Husbands are allowed to do things on their own
