If you have major allergies

What do you use or do when you're having an allergy attack? I'm fine most of the time but for a few days out of the year (usually when cedar, ragweed, or other seasonal allergies are at their high) I'm out of commission. I take Chlor-Trimeton and use a nasal rinse on my bad days, but nothing really helps on those days.
Do you do or use anything that actually works?

Yep...shots...lol... I started off with 4 shots per week, down to 2 shots per week...now, I'm down to 2 shots every 2 weeks. I will going to every 3 weeks soon, and then 2 shots once a month. I began getting the injections back in March and oh my..the difference in the way I feel is incredible! I'm allergic to pretty much everything outside, as well as dogs, cats, and other items.

I just suffer.
Nothing works, i opted for shots. They made my seasonal allergies more bareable i guess, but made my other allergies WORSE!!!
So, im just miserable.
