He eats like shit and is 300 pounds, he says he is healthy and won't change his diet, he has fibrosis and lost part of his liver from being fat and he won't listen to me. The doctors said he needs to have lots of protein and so he says he " has a medical excuse to not eat veggies and to eat lots of burgers" isk what to do I try to tell him to eat right but it is such a fight its nit even about him being fat I don't want to lose him I don't care what he looks like I just want him to be healthy

I'm sorry. Is this a spouse or other relative?

Wtf? So a medical doctor told your SO that he is healthy despite having health issues due to his obesity? Wow...time for a new doctor

Get a second opinion. Can you control dinner and the meals he has at home?

I don't think protein="lots of burgers". Could be wrong, but I don't think so.

I'm sorry too btw.

do you do the groceries ? If so ..stop buying all of the fatty foods that he likes.

If he does the groceries , than maybe come up with a compromise ...if he starts to eat healthier he will get a fatty meal every two weeks...

You never know , he may start liking the healthy eating on his own.

Does he game? My so does and its slowly killing him...not moving...he used to eat bad too but since money is tight we've been living on beans and rice. Try to get him informed about nutrition. Have him go to a new doc hardly anybody is healthy at 300 pounds. He needs to meet with a nutritionalist..
