Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

our society is doomed. this is just disgraceful.

When a man was pushed onto the subway tracks, instead of helping the man ( who was trying to climb out) as a train approached a new York post photographer snapped pictures instead of grabbing his arm and pulling him out.
The man died when the train hit him. The post then put that picture on the front page.

The photographer says he took the pictures in the hopes the driver would stop.

I would be scared. But the man who pushed him fled after he pushed him. The two were fighting beforefore he was pushed in.

The photo is just horrific. I take the train to work and can't imagine seeing someone pushed. My first instinct would probably be to run for fear of being pushed by a madman. I think when something so horrific happens people go into shock. It is sad that nobody came to his aid.

This. I'm not strong and chances of me falling in are too great. I'd scream for help though.

So sad.

Quoting danie24:

I'm sorry but I wouldn't help him out.

I'd be too afriad he'd accidentally pull me in with him.

The photographer stated that the reason he was taking the pictures was so that the train driver would see his flash and stop....yea....right.  I will take the Golden Gate Bridge for a dollar please!  If he would have only grabbed his arm, the guy would most likely be alive today.  So sad.
