SAHM vs Working Mom

What's the big deal? Does it really matter who has a more difficult job or life? Aren't those kinds of competitions best left to middle school?

As grown women can't we just accept that we're all doing what we feel is best for our families and working hard for them?

We all have our struggles. We all have our problems-our flaws- our disappointments and we all have our own hopes and dreams. We're all different but we're all in this life together.

As women-as sisters on this Earth we need to unite and build each other up-not tear each other down.

OKAY.... Well, I am a proud SAHM and have proud SAHM, WAHM, WM friends, most of us don't feel that way.

You're in the wrong group for all that.

The only time I've ever read or heard about one being better than the other--SAHM vs WAHM--is online.

Never has this ever happened offline with my family and friends. We simply respect one another or at least know to keep our big yaps shut over this sort of thing.

I agree. Both ways are damned hard. It really shouldn't be a contest. It all comes off like a pity-party-pissing-contest to me.

I've done both. They both have pro's and con's. I prefer to be home, and feel blessed that I can be. I'm not better than moms who need, or choose to work. I'm also not lazy or uneducated. I just kind of let that debate flow around me.
