This is the real question.

If you decided to send your child to daycare or preschool next week could you afford it off your DH pay alone?  I'm talking FULL TIME childcare...not some free "Preschool program".

Yes. Both of my kids were in preschool last year 2 days a week. We afforded it just fine.

preschool is free, so yeah.  Hell, the speech program my 3 year old is in is free too.  It's run by the school board

Yes...my son is in Preschool and its free. Its with the school district. We also did hourly care at the on post daycare when he was younger. I wanted him to get used to being away from me. His older brother is Autistic and always got free services so I never had to worry about that.

Yep, but I've been home for about five years.

My babies are 8 months and 22 months, yes I could afford to send them to daycare. We were talking about sending them in January so that I can get some things caught up here at home.

pre-k is free in our state. But if we sent her for the full day we couldnt afford it, which is why she is in part time.
